Skiing enjoyment with the family

Near Hollenstein an der Ybbs, in the heart of the Ybbstal Alps and well protected by forests, lies the Königsberg ski area. With its five drag lifts, the children's lift and a total of 14 kilometres of pistes, it is ideal for nature lovers and families. Highlight for all kids: For children under the age of 6 there is a special snowman's card, the Kinderskiland and the Kleinkinderseillift can be used by all snow hares free of charge.

In addition there is a 1 km long deep snow and mogul slope at Lift II, a part of the ski area can be artificially snowed at appropriate temperatures. Ski courses are offered by the Nendwich Ski and Snowboard School, which also has a ski and snowboard rental service.

Hours of operation: Full operation on weekends (Sat, Sun) and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as during the Lower Austrian Christmas and semester holidays, partial operation during the week (daily change: lifts 1, 2 or lifts 3, 4 & 5. The Kinderland is open daily).
